End of Summer in Northeast WI

That's a fairly depressing title to this post, but I felt it was necessary when I started drafting it near the end of June on a cool day; one that involved seeing people in pants and long sleeves. Talk about a weird month of June with weather, I mean we saw 100 degrees, plenty of rain, and temps in the 50s at times. Gotta love Wisconsin haha.

The plan for posting this is in mid-July, and the way my Realtor brain works is always living 30-45 days into the future. Which means when this is posted I will be drafting offers with closing dates in mid to late August, aka the end of summer!! It's crazy how quick time flies as an adult and for you parents out there, it's time to make sure you make as many memories as possible before those kiddos head back to school in late August.

So I decided instead of posting something about home updates, real estate data, or anything related to the economy I'd post some reminders for you to ensure you enjoy the last of summer in Northeast WI.

  • Plenty of Live Music - There are so many great breweries, wineries, restaurants, and parks that have live music planned for the next several months. Some of my favorite spots are Ledgestone & Station 1 Brewing. But there are plenty of others, like Badger State!
  • Farmers Markets - There is basically at least one Farmers Market almost every day of the week so checkout downtown De Pere's, downtown Green Bay's, the Market on Military, and others.
  • Green Bay Rockers Baseball
  • Green Bay Packers Football
  • Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Baseball
  • Check out the New Zoo and Green Bay Botanical Gardens
  • Have you gotten up to Door County yet?
  • Get out an GOLF!!! I mean jeez how many amazing courses do we have in Northeast WI!! Heck I even have some friends that they do an annual tournament between husband & wife as dates to all the local mini golf courses in the region.
  • Outdoor Dining - We only get a few good months to sit outside and enjoy a meal, so look for your favorite spot utilizing my food blog!!

And you know what's amazing is that this list is mainly just Brown County activities and is not nearly all encompassing. I know it's missing a ton of stuff, but honestly I don't have the time or the energy to list everything. Your local Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitor Bureau's websites will have more information, as will Facebook & Instagram.

So what are you waiting for, go out and live up summer while you can!!!
